South Korea is a famous destination when it comes to travel. Besides Seoul, the capital city, Busan is the second metropolis worth visiting. Busan has significant nature views as well as historical cultural spots. It is a hidden gem waiting for visitors to explore its beauty.
With colorful houses built along the mountainside, Gamcheon Culture Village shows the energy of a reborn village. Back to the Korean War, the village was full of poor refugees. However, after the government collaborated with artists to redesign and paint the houses with different bright colors, the village became a tourist destination. According to CNN Travel, Kim Kye-young, said that the houses are built in tiers due to the concept of Taegeukdo. It’s a Korean philosophy where people live in harmony with nature and their neighbors. Therefore, when the houses are built in tiers, there aren’t any houses that can be blocked and residents think it’s good for the prosperity of the village. It’s easy to get lost in the village, but it is also the most interesting part because people never know who they will meet at the next corner. Moreover, along the way, there are many decorations on the walls or installation art. Even the coffee shops are full of lovely adornments that represents the culture. The most famous is the Little Prince and the Fox. The statue of the Little Prince and the Fox facing the village symbolizes that they are the guardians of the village. For those who love culture and art, Gamcheon Cutural Village is a nice place to visit.

This legend along with the location of the temple is what makes the temple so special. Along with the coastline, the temple has a stunning view of sea. In addition to the temple, there is another special area where people can build stone along the coast. The legend of the rock building is that people can make a wish if they successfully build a rock statue that doesn't fall down. Many travelers also try to build one to take part in the culture. Furthermore, a row of Chinese zodiac statues at the entrance demonstrates the combination of Chinese and Korean cultures. The stone statues are enormous and demonstrate a sense of respect to the tourist. Some people even put money on the statue to pray for good luck. From the top of temple, looking down whole coastline, visitors may be inspired by a sense.
